Thought I'd advertise this some more, seeing as its just kinda been sitting there silently. We do have a Discord Server dedicated to speedrunning this mod! ( https://discord.gg/xqJe2b7uT7 ) Feel free to come in and ask any questions, share media, discuss speedrunning or do whatever that isn't breaking rules. The server is pretty empty people wise but join if you feel like it.
I am open to category ideas you might have, request them in this thread. Must include the category name and the rules for category. A video of you doing the category is not always needed but it would be very helpful. Thank you.
Just like the normal SM64 category. We have 31 star, so why not 50? They were both the game's Any% at some point. Also, I probably asked Joker about this before but I forgor 💀
Would I be able to submit a run from the original japanese "Naruto RPG: Uketsugareshi Hi no Ishi" GBA version of the game here? Or would it have to be sumbitted as a different game?
Goal: Die in all 15 main courses
Rules: Start on new save file, Intro skip and Soft reset codes may be used.
Timing: Starts on file select and ends on upon the screen turning black after the final death.
I don't know if anyone has thought of this before but what about an All Warps Category? A category where you see how fast you can go through every warp in the game. Timing starts on reset and ends upon using the final warp. All forms of BLJ and MIPS Clip are allowed. The warps include: 2 in BOB 1 in WF 1 in CCM 2 in SSL 1 in LLL 1 in SL 1 in TTM 1 in THI 1 in WDW 1 in RR (I might have missed some warps and if I have please let me know)
Can I submit a run from 3D All-Stars to the game's category extensions? Like can I do a 30 Star run on 3D All-Stars and sumbit it here?
Project 64 1.6 is the only version we can use and the only graphics plugin on it is Jabo. Jabo doesn't show the shadows which I think is pretty important for speedrunning. Is there anyway I can add the Glide64 plugin to it?
I was watching some speedruns and I noticed that they were using the Lakitu C Down cam during their Bowser throw. Why do they do that?
