Can Brayflox's Longstop, Haukke Manor, Thousand Maws and Dzemael Darkhold category have a subcategory option for "after 6.1" and have shown category default to after 6.1 changes?

These dungeons changed by: Brayflox's Longstop: Map layout adjusted (players can no longer run over the water in section before salamander boss) Dzemael Darkhold: The route through the dungeon has been adjusted, and the positioning of certain treasure coffers has been changed accordingly. Haukke Manor: After the battle with the manor steward and manor jester, an object allowing players to warp back to the starting point will now appear. Thousand Maws: Extensive changes to general progression through the dungeon have been implemented.

Patch notes can be seen here (will auto-find section if opened on chrome) https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/topics/detail/c73cd284013587066d8f9e697fab1db9f007372c/#:~:text=following%20dungeons%20and%20trials

Game was completely redone in many ways for version 6. Can we get a new 6.0+ (though Steam calls it Hero Siege 2.0) version tag for our run submissions? Version 5.9.6 is still playable through the beta options on Steam.

https://www.speedrun.com/mr_driller was the original category for this game, however it turns out there are some key differences between the Gameboy Color / Wonderswan Color version of the game and the PS1/PSP/PSV/PC/Arcade version of the game.

Apart from a different UI, the non-GBC/WSC versions have a difficulty setting that speeds up the game significantly, meaning that GBC was technically unable to compete with the other platforms for topping leaderboards. So I submitted a separate category for fairness sake. And here it is!

There are other minor differences between the two, but they aren't super important.

SRC mods approved the category request. I'm setting it up in my free time. Hoping to be able to copy / manually submit the GBC runs from here to there if it lets me. Also wanna invite you to co-mod if you'd like, since you're already mod in all the other Mr Driller categories :)

Would I be allowed to submit a run played on Sameboy Emu?

Edit: https://www.speedrun.com/mr_driller_gbc/ it's a thing now <3

Hello. I've recently been practicing runs on the Gameboy Color and i notice that it would actually be impossible to score high on the leaderboard other than via filtering for only GBC. This is because every version of Mr Driller on the other platforms except for GBC has difficulty and lives options, one of which makes the game a bit faster, whereas the GBC version has only "2500ft Challenge" / "5000ft Challenge" / "Survival Mode" / "High Scores" and no options menu to speak of.

Since the GBC version lacks these extra options, I believe it should be given a completely separate page here on speedrun com.

I really want to submit my 2m29s run but it feels bad knowing it would be impossible to ever get in the top 10 on the overall leaderboard on this page.

Co-op Mode meta can drastically change between player amounts and comps (some bosses strats change with more players because bosses will cast more copies of a skill) so Id like to propose 3 player based categories and then 3 subcategories thereof:

Main Categories: Co-op 2P Co-op 3P Co-op 4P

Sub-categories: All Same (AS) No Same (NS) Some Same (SS)

Sameness depends on team comp. All Same would be like Necro x Necro x Necro on 3P, Some Same would be like Necro x Necro x Whitemage, while No Same would be like Necro x Whitemage x Pyromancer

I'm not 100% sure how speedrun categories work or if these could just be added as filters, but the sheer speed difference of runs between player amounts may make it worth doing entirely separate categories.

I am also interested in reviving / helping manage this category. I've been doing quite a bit of speedrunning on it in the Any% non-DLC and Any% Coop categories but the rules need to be updated for me to submit my runs.

For example it looks like Act 7 is no longer DLC. Though it could be said that the up-to-Act-6 Satan rule still applies since odds are the game is going to keep expanding.
