VR speedruns are really hard to record and time for some people, so just make sure you get a full run video (with audio), do your best to time it once you're done, and if you did it incorrectly I will always double check

Yep. That's a big problem.
I'm 100% certain that it would be faster, and after trying it on 1.0 the frog definitely despawns too quick to even get close to trying it out. The only way to get it work is to somehow stop the frog from despawning. I don't even know if you can do this glitch with the frog anyways.
This is a pretty good idea, I like it. I'd recommend time starts on the black fadeout going into the cave
