they are both .000 ms flat times, so I am guessing the update just made them 3:09 flat and 3:16 flat respectively for that reason

there is a strat i found not to long ago where you get P-Speed early and duck under the waffle but it only saves 4 frames realistically, i think this is what wolf was talking about

in one of his runs i think it was his 3:02.833 he got a .2 timesave in 7-1 because of the weird way the crash works if you do it on that certain frame of the music, but back then he thought it was a bigger window if he went fast so when he didn't get it he said "i didn't get it"
