A Guide on Tower Types

Hello everyone, I've been growing frustrated with the frequent submissions of runs selecting the wrong tower types. To address this issue, I've created this thread to serve as a guide on tower categorization.

Event Towers:

Event towers are exclusively available for a limited time during in-game events. Some common examples include Gladiator, Sledger, and Swarmer. Notably, Warden and Cowboy do not fall under this category, as Pizza Party and Badlands 2 are permanent modes.

No Event Towers (Special Towers):

Special Towers are those found in the Hardcore, Golden, and Event Tower categories. If you've used event towers in your run, please submit under the Event Towers section. Notably, towers like Turret and Pursuit are not considered special towers since they don't belong to the hardcore or golden tower groups. To the surprise of some newcomers, Warden and Cowboy also do not qualify as special towers because Warden can be unlocked using in-game coins, and neither tower is featured in exclusive towers categories.

No Special Towers:

If you've carefully read the information above, you'll know that special towers are those that can be unlocked without any exclusivity restrictions. Common examples include Shotgunner, Farm, Commander, and DJ Booth.

TL;DR : Warden and Cowboy are not event towers, they're not special towers either, so is Crook Boss, Turret, Mortar and Pursuit
