So I thought of an interesting idea for a speedrunning category (literally no one asked, but idc). I call it Itemless%. The goal is to beat the game as fast as possible with as little items as possible unless they are required items to progress through the game. Examples may include Bug Spray, and Diving Helmets.
Now obviously, like I said, you need bug spray to enter the Beverly Room. So bug spray will (probably) not count towards the Item Count. However, if possible you may not need a LiDAR Scanner for Lights Out or a diving helmet for Thalassophobia. It’ll at least take a while to exit both levels.
well we have before itemless for two-three items. but its so bad category bc only two peoples beat lights out without lidars bruh(user1 and dev)
yeah, item less has been around it just died once people started doing LiDARless level 6
No Major Glitches rules were updated to include all disallowed glitches instead of all allowed glitches. Hopefully that makes this category less confusing. Also running with TVs in Level 188 Expanded is allowed with these new rules.
