Big shoutouts to johnnyarcade, whose run showed me the consistent strategy for squid fight. Basically get to the right end of the screen with the shown movement, hold right, and for the last wave of squids jump at the third "explosion" visuals. This makes all squids disappear. F19, F39, and boxfish were the only "stains" of this otherwise smooth run. It is a great shame that I could not pull off a new boxfish strat that consistently gets 2:41 (not very fast, but acceptable for a speedrun), but I will revisit this category eventually. Huge thanks to the TAS and top IL's found on YouTube that gave me inspirations for many of the consistent strats used in this run.
