I went GTAce99o mode and took 3 hours to do improve WR, just like he did (actually slightly more) alright lemme tell whole story So I was like "wo wo wo what's going on here in the forums?" And then I saw this post https://www.speedrun.com/smbce/thread/7ryaw/1#dazly At first I was skeptical, I was like "ok how in the world can you be that fast, did he mess up his timing?" Then I saw the tricc and I was like "OWO OWOMY GOD HOLYY THICCO TIME SAVEO MODE" Then I whipped out Nestopia, OBS Studio, my Heartrate monitor, and Livesplit, and was like "IT'S TIME TO THICCO DESTROY THIS WR"
Some practice and 91 attempts later, this is the result.
Sub 4:40 is possible with a slightly faster 8-4 and saving 1 framerule in 1-1 and 1 additional framerule in 4-2. That would be a serious grind though because the 4-2 framerule is very precise.
