hi i'm a pretty new runner and ive been watching top runs and they use different languages e.g on house they use chinese, but on other maps they use different languages.
why do you guys use different languages and which languages are the best?
I had the same idea hopefully someone responds with the answer.
I personally think so it will be a faster cut sene so it can be faster.
that was my guess for the purpose but id like to know what languages are better - and if they even are better but i doubt people would just use them for no reason
imo they should have something like this in the guides, seems kinda gatekept rn since it isnt anywhere on the src page
We use certain languages for certain maps because it helps us spawn in faster

okay tysm for helping. but out of curiosity why does the world record for house use chinese but this list says turkish?
There is also full game speed runs so what language would you use for full game runs?
@DarthZander2010 Do you mean all-chapter runs, you can just use the same languages for the same maps, or if you dont want to constantly switch chinese is the best overall and helps in almost every map
Also, some of these languages are outdated due to the fact that languages were retranslated so you may have to figure out which language is good for you on your own but the main languages to test are chinese simplified, chinese traditional, polish, and turkish
