so i'm thinking of starting to speedrun, probably a little dark souls 2. but want to try some other games people haven't mentioned a lot here. I'm really into RPGs and i'm thinking of diablo 2 (solo, probably on players 8) neverwinter nights, i'd say sleeping dogs, but htat game is basically a movie.

What other games would you guys suggest? i'm fine with longer runs and such.

Also, what do i need for good screecapture equipment/programs? any good freeware? my video card is a gtx650 if that makes any difference.

Great choice starting with Dark Souls 2! For other RPGs to try, how about "Baldur's Gate" or "Chrono Trigger"? They're not typically seen in speedruns and could be a fresh challenge. For screen recording, OBS Studio is a solid, free option that should work well with your GTX 650. It's easy to set up for recording and streaming. Happy speedrunning!

You might enjoy running The Witcher 3 or Fallout: New Vegas as they both offer complex worlds with lots of speedrun potential.
