Duolingo speedruns

I've been ramping up to do a DuoLingo speedrun (English speaker running Spanish, if you're curious) and I noticed it doesn't have a speedrun.com page. It's a pretty well-known site so I'm going to assume there's a good reason for that, and not that absolutely nobody has ever requested a page for it. Could someone explain to me what that reason is (or point me to a thread that explains it)?

I think it probably qualifies as a "Quiz game", which Src is not accepting.

Many people have asked to have duolingo on the site. They got what they want, a social link for it.

You can always organize a community in a discord, and track times through a spreadsheet. Establishing a community before submitting a game request always raises the chance of a game being approved.

Of course! I plan on running this whether or not sr.c wants to host that run or not, and I'm glad to compile and maintain a leaderboard if there's interest. I was curious of the specific reason it wasn't hosted on sr.c, since I couldn't think of one myself. It feels weird for DuoLingo to count as a quiz game, but it's better to have a strict rule on that kind of thing than a loose one.

well duolingo isnt really a game at all. its a language learning website/app. but yeah like others said you can always just have your own board on google sheets or somewhere like that :D

Mate cut them some slack. They prolly don't know what bumping is. And besides, this thread was found via google search most likely.

these forums should have the feature that threads auto lock if after a while of inactivity and you would be able to request mods to reopen the thread if you actually had something to contribute

Is there a duolingo official speedruning discord?

By using the search bar, you would be able to see that Duolingo is not on the site
